About me

'8ight Limbs' is a horror short, written and directed by Jamie Rae and Daniel Anscombe.

-Synopsis-

A notorious serial killer dubbed 'The Twin Torturer' has sporadically kidnapped, tortured and murdered at least eight victims in the past decade - all of them within a few hundred yards of each other.

-The Directors-

Daniel Anscombe and Jamie Rae are two final year Film Production students at the University of Lincoln in England.

--Daniel previously studied Computer Animation and Special Effects at Bradford University; experience which he now puts to use in picture post-production.

In 2006 he started the production label 'Big Damn Hero Films' for his short and feature productions, which to date has 4 completed projects. In 2007 BDH Films became a founder member of the motion picture conglomerate 'Associated World Pictures'.

One of his recent pictures 'Miles To Go' has been short listed for the January 2008 Icewhole UK awards, in the under 5 minutes category.

--Jamie spent five years studying Fine Art, which brought an array of skills to his filmmaking palette, mainly in storyboarding. As well as studying and creating work in his own time, he has worked with various professional affiliations creating promotional videos and corporate photography.

He created 'Raezorcut' in 2006, a label to attach to his moving image work, which to date has 4 completed projects. Raezorcut is also a founder member of 'Associated World Pictures'.

One of his recent shorts, ‘Flesh Forum’, has been selected as one of ten films chosen by Orange for the Orange Mobile Downloads, in conjunction with IceWhole.
