For Christian Edwards nothing holds more importance in a film than strong acting within a believable story. He's never distracted by superfluous stylization or technical aspects of filmmaking. In short, an Actor's Director with amazing potential and great deal of commitment. Highly recommended for actors with serious aspirations in the field of drama.

Chris is a great guy he has immense amount of potential. His talented in many ways and his imagination, story telling ability, creative spark, keenness, motivation and self belief is remarkable. I am lucky to have met Chris through work, his passion towards his films has driven me to watch every single one online and I have to say he just gets better and better there are great prospects lying ahead for him and everyone who has the pleasure to work with him. His ambition and drive will definitely bring the best out of his films and that already shows. I was directed, by Chris Edwards, for the first time last night in the film "Second Cut".

I worked with a lot of Directors over the last three years, but Chris' style and approach is absolutely second to none. He has vision and is able to convey that to the actor so clearly.

He is also very respectful and easy to work with.

His relationship with Tom Richards, DOP and other half of Darklight, is unbelievably good, and together they are film makers I trust implicitly.

I don't these things lightly, or to appease anyone, I say them because they are true.

And I hope to continue working with Chris and Darklight Productions in the coming years.

Chris is a fantastic director. He loves making films and his passion for them shows in his organisation, professionalism and the end product. I relished working with someone who knew how to get the best out of his actors. 'Requiem Recurring' is my best work to date and I credit that to his direction, his vision and his team at DARKLIGHT PRODUCTIONS. Collectively Chris and his producer Tom make a great filmmaking team. They are organised and efficient and look after everyone involved, treating everyone as equals. I had a great time working with DARKLIGHT PRODUCTIONS and I look forward to working with Chris and Tom again in the future.
