About me
On an old school report a teacher wrote "Barbara is easily lead astray." Guess she was right coz at the oh so tender age of 48 I'm completely lost and don't know what to do next. Worked in many industries and most areas of TV and film production. My last job was as a freelance production accountant. I took a break from work to look after my lovely mum who suffered a massive stroke in 2001. She went off to the big blue last year and now I'm thinking 'what next.' Do I really want to number crunch again or do I satiate my creative leanings. For financial reasons I should number crunch. For minds sake I should get creative.

- Worked on all kinds of stuff in the REEL world e.g. footsteps and sound fx on original Brideshead Revisited series to production accounting for Time Team.... No major film credits though. In REAL world I drove a tractor before I learned to drive a car. Visited Libya in 1979 aged 19 and got arrested. Fell in love with a mad man who I still love inspite of everything. Had several near death experiences. Was holding mum's hand when she died at home. Flew a plane and a paraglider. Saw the Jackson's in concert before Michael messed up and and and and and. Actually I've done quite a lot.... beats frying donuts every night for 18 years I guess!
