- Chinatown, Unbreakable, Fargo, Taxi Driver, The Big Lebowski, Sin City, As Good As It Gets, The Shining, The Sixth Sense, AngelA, Good Will Hunting, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Wicker Man.
- Music:
- I'm not specific to genres, but the Foo Fighters, Killers, Counting Crows, Chilli Peppers, Subways, Queen and the Editors are all up there. For me, bands have to be judged by the live performance.
- Books:
- 'The Wasp Factory' - This is in desperate need of a big screen adaptation. If nobody else is going to do it, I will!

I am the founder and co-director of 'Magic Dust Productions', which is a Film and Television production company.
It is now just over two years old and I am very proud of the progress the company is enjoying as well as the projects and contacts we have made. They are all things that have put us in good stead for the future. - Up and Coming:

A one-off, six-part TV mini-series, titled 'On Borrowed Time' as well as a two-part horror film, titled 'The Moors'.
